The new Pine Ridge Dude Ranch

Established in 2018, the new Pine Ridge Dude Ranch continues the tradition of the former, Pinegrove Ranch as a premiere, “all-inclusive,” affordable, family vacation destination. Whether you are looking for a fun weekend getaway close to New York City or the perfect place for a reunion of family or friends, we have something for everyone!
When the ranch opened more than 40 years ago, it didn’t just serve as a ranch or become a destination. It didn’t just create jobs for the local residents. It became a place of tradition and, for many, an annual pilgrimage and lifestyle. Each year, we hosted thousands of returning guests excited to greet old friends and make new ones. We look forward to honoring the memories of an age gone by and enhancing the family-friendly tradition of the ranch for generations to come.
The Ranch’s new owners consist of the former barn manager and two prior guests, who had been visiting the legendary property for years. They just celebrated their reopening on April 2, welcoming hundreds of guests–many of them repeat customers as well as newcomers. We are eager to show off our newly renovated facilities and grounds and become your favorite vacation destination… and don’t worry.
While we have freshened up, the ranch still has that western feel, appealing to your “inner buckaroo.”
At Pine Ridge, the heart of the ranch is our unique approach to horses for both riders and non-riders. Whether you want to ride all day or just enjoy seeing horses in the field, there are options to accommodate everyone. The barn will offers some new and exciting hands-on experiences not offered anywhere else. While old favorites such as the “Sunset Ride” will continue, we have unveiled many soon-to-be favorites such as “Own a Horse for a Day.” All our programs are designed by horse lovers for horse lovers.
Located just 90 miles from New York City, Pine Ridge Dude Ranch is set in the beautiful foothills of the Catskill Mountains in the hamlet of Kerhonkson. On this sprawling, wooded property, you’ll find your accommodations spacious and comfortable. For more information, please call us at (845) 626-7345.
